Erik Granit (1930 – 1988) was a renowned Finnish silversmith, born and worked in Helsinki. Most of his jewelry appears as abstract and modern designs. His jewelry creations incorporate high quality workmanship and show the simplicity, craftsmanship and attention to detail that embody Finnish design philosophy. In 1956, he established his workshop and design company, E. Granit & Co in Helsinki and he worked there all his life.

The silver band curves outward, the opposite of many bracelets. There's a five silver bead top that's hooked to the bracelet at each side. Only one side is the open / close clasp while the other hook keeps the beads securely in place.
